Have Questions?
We’re here to help! If your question isn’t answered here please get in touch.
In most cases, a single technician will complete the work requested. Occasionally, we will have more than one cleaner attend your scheduled service. Depending on the size and nature of the work.
Our team of trained professionals will always try their best to remove or remediate any stains on your upholstery; however, due to the nature of certain stains, we cannot make a 100% guarantee that some stains will come out (e.g., dye stains, colour damage from pet urine etc.).
We will wait for a nice clear day to perform your cleaning wherever possible.
Unfortunately, during winter, for example, waiting for a clear day to complete the work is not always feasible. While cleaning in the rain can feel counter-productive, cleaning your windows throughout all seasons is still a good idea to ensure they don’t get any mineral damage from built-up soil and minerals.
We will offer to reschedule your window clean if there is a forecast of heavy rain and high winds. We will proceed with window cleaning in winter if there is a drizzle; our team will determine what weather they will or will not be able to work in for OHS reasons.
Maintenance of your tile and grout is essential. We recommend scheduling cleaning services at least twice a year to ensure the durability and clean appearance of your tiles and grout, less often if the floor is sealed and maintained as per our instructions.
We do not move furniture, so please ensure all items you wish to have moved are out of the way before the cleaning technician arrives (thank you in advance).
A grout blowout can occur occasionally and is generally the result of poor installation; this happens when our machinery encounters a weak spot within the grout, and the pressure from our machinery knocks this soft or loose piece of grout out of place.
We do not cover you for grout blowouts as they result from poor installation, unrelated to our cleaning methods, as all tile and grout cleaners will use a technique that involves pressure to clean your tiles/grout.
For a freshly cleaned floor, you can walk on it as soon as the floor is dry, usually taking 20-30 minutes. We can provide our clients with booties if they need to walk around while the floor dries.
For a freshly sealed floor, you will have to wait up to 2 hours after we have applied the final coat before being able to walk on that surface. We advise walking around once the floor has completely dried; walking around while wet could damage the sealer. Please note that we do not cover any damage or issues that arise if a customer chooses not to follow the instructions above.
Frequently vacuuming and mopping with a pH-neutral detergent (Actichem Pro-Neutro) and a clean flat mop will help maintain your flooring. Avoid using dirty water or adding too much detergent. Do not use highly alkaline or acidic cleaners for sealed flooring or clean with solvents (e.g., methylated spirits, isopropyl alcohol, etc.).
Please note that we do not cover clients for sealer damage if they use anything other than our recommended products (Actichem Pro-Neutro) and cleaning methods outlined above.
Once we finish, you should not need to clean your floors for a few days. If your floor is freshly sealed, avoid wetting that area for 48 hours to allow the sealant to cure.
Unfortunately, cleaning pavers is not as simple as cleaning concrete. Pavers are laid on a levelled loam base and “locked” with lock sand.
Pressure washing often removes the lock sand between the pavers, so there will be additional costs if you want us to re-lock the pavers.
Pavelock service is a paid and additional service; clients can opt out of it and complete the task themselves.
If your pavers are uneven and wobbly, we would advise getting someone to fix the levelled loam base either pre or post-clean
We try our hardest to get our clients the best results, but sometimes that is impossible. Concrete and pavers are porous surfaces when left unsealed, which means they can soak up oils and other materials, which can cause permanent staining. Because of this, we do not offer a 100% stain removal guarantee.
If you have any specific concerns about a stain, don’t hesitate to contact us for our professional advice.
